Her journey began at age 10, writing poetry and rapping over TV instrumentals using PowerPoint’s audio recorder. At age 11, she began to further her music career as a percussionist in her school's concert band. Though she once feared the stage, her talent spoke louder, earning her recognition in school publications and from professors for her storytelling skills. A dual-sport athlete in softball and basketball, she continued her basketball career at Edward Waters University, even competing as one of the top 3 candidates for valedictorian before a sports injury shifted her focus.

While working as a JCO, Captain Mac sharpened her craft—rapping to the youth on 12-hour night shifts and earning their respect. Her raw energy and authenticity soon turned heads, leading to performances in front of big industry names such as Lil Bankhead, T.I., Skooly, DJ Greg Street and more.

Despite setbacks, she thrives, pushing through adversity with unshakable drive.
